This has been on my mind for a long time, but I'm not really sure how to put it into words. My son will be a year old on Monday, and I have another baby due November 21 (so I'm 34 weeks pregnant). Jeez, I cant believe I’m posting this birth story SO LATE!!!! Last month and a half have been quite busy - Tim, our new family member, is a real nursing marathoner, hard to keep up with (:

Last night, as I was laying in bed on my back (being a rebel), I got to thinking. They advise against pregnant women laying on their backs, right? So then why do so many women go through labor and delivery on their backs????

I see so many stories about women being told they are "too small" to birth naturally or their pelvis is "too small." For you, or anyone else who has been given crap about the decision to birth naturally, I give you Allison's Birth.
